We always aim to use recycled and repurposed materials whenever possible and try to minimise plastic use in our work.

All our doors and windows will glow in the dark from the panel behind the door, giving the effect of a light shining from inside.

We use three colours of pigments. Luminous Green, the one most people associate with glow in the dark, but also the lesser known shades of Sky Blue, and Turquoise. These two, whilst not as bright as the green, tend to glow for a little bit longer. The brightness and length of time of the glow effect is increased with exposure to sunlight or artificial light. UV, or "blacklight" giving the strongest effect. Ambient light will charge up the effect during the day and it will glow, but not quite as brightly as if it was artificially charged.

They are constructed from old hardwood furniture, generally Oak and are painted with toy safe wood dyes, constructed using waterproof wood glue, and then finished with a final coating of Danish Oil.
